2009 Indian Junior & Cadet Open - ITTF Junior Circuit
Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Soumyajit Ghosh excelled on the ITTF Pro Tour in February at the Salwa Cup Kuwait Open and the Qatar Open; both recorded fine wins against more experienced adversaries and proved they were very much at home on the senior stage.
At the forthcoming Indian Junior Open, to be held in Indore from Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th September 2009, undoubtedly they will lead the host nation's challenge; certainly they will be the focus of local attention and they will be seeking to clear the final hurdle and break the tape in first place.
ITTF Junior Circuit
The Indian Junior Open will feature both teams and singles events in the junior and cadet age group categories.
The Indian Table Tennis Association offers a total of 15,000 $ (USD) in prize money, with no tax deduction.
